Our client

Morgan hunt are working with a large, North West based Housing Association who are looking to recruit 2 Independent Living Coordinators for their over 55 schemes in the Stockport area.

This is initially for a period of 4 weeks with the potential for extension. Hours of work are 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As an Independent Living Coordinator you'll be part of the team, who provide supportive, responsive, effective and flexible housing management and support to customers in Independent Living. You will promote and maximise the independence for older people within a user led environment.

The role - Independent Living Coordinator;

Supporting customers to maintain their independence and thrive in their tenancy and community.

Responsible for assets of tenancy management including voids, allocations, managing tenancy end and new tenancies, customer inductions, rents, ASB and challenging behaviour, and breeches of occupancy agreements.

Reporting and monitoring of repairs, maintenance and adaptations.

General building management including health and safety, maintaining the security of the building and compliance.

Supporting the welfare customers including responding to alarm calls and emergencies.

Completing Personal Safety Plans with all customers as required.

Maintaining accurate and timely records in line with Data Protection regulations.

The candidate

Experience and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults.

Experience of using Housing Management systems.

Experience of Health and Safety / Compliance procedures within Housing.

Experience of completing support plans and risk assessments.

A current Enhanced DBS dated within 12 months or on the update service.
