Independent Living Coordinator
We are recruiting a temporary Independent Living Coordinator on a 30-hour per week basis, until May/June 2024. You will be covering 2 x Independent Living Schemes within a 5-minute walking distance of each other, working hours are 8am to 2:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Your new role
- Morning check in/welfare calls for vulnerable tenants
- Undertaking routine fire checks, testing doors, alarms and emergency lighting as well as reviewing fire risk assessments & person-centred fire risk assessments
- Providing basic housing advice, guidance and support
- Supporting with general queries/enquiries, and liaising with family members, health professionals and other key stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar role/setting with a good knowledge of housing & tenancy management principles
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including vulnerable & elderly residents
- Confident IT user
What you'll get in return
- Weekly pay with hourly rates up to £17 per hour
- Option to be paid via PAYE with holiday accrual or Umbrella
- Ongoing temp contract until May/June 2024
- 30 hours per week contract
