We are recruiting a temporary Independent Living Coordinator on a 30-hour per week basis, until May/June 2024. You will be covering 2 x Independent Living Schemes within a 5-minute walking distance of each other, working hours are 8am to 2:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Your new role

  • Morning check in/welfare calls for vulnerable tenants
  • Undertaking routine fire checks, testing doors, alarms and emergency lighting as well as reviewing fire risk assessments & person-centred fire risk assessments
  • Providing basic housing advice, guidance and support
  • Supporting with general queries/enquiries, and liaising with family members, health professionals and other key stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role/setting with a good knowledge of housing & tenancy management principles
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including vulnerable & elderly residents
  • Confident IT user

What you'll get in return

  • Weekly pay with hourly rates up to £17 per hour
  • Option to be paid via PAYE with holiday accrual or Umbrella
  • Ongoing temp contract until May/June 2024
  • 30 hours per week contract
