Join our long-standing client’s independent garage as their new Garage Manager and take charge of their operations!

They’re a well-established independent garage dedicated to providing top-quality automotive services and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, procurement, quality control, and customer relations to ensure timely and high-quality service.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate mechanics, technicians, and support staff. Conduct performance reviews and provide training opportunities.
• Customer Service: Maintain a customer-centric approach, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction for retention.
• Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, attract new customers, and retain existing ones
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure workshop compliance with regulations, conduct safety audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Financial Management: Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to achieve targets.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Maintain relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure a consistent supply of quality parts.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, staying updated with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £42k Basic DOE
• £50K OTE
• Monday - Friday
• Attendance bonus
• No Weekends
