Implementation Consultant (Sage) - Woodley (on-site) - £200 to £300 per day Inside IR35

We are looking for a Sage implementation specialist for our clients based in Woodley, you will be working transferring the data from thier old system (FMS) over to Sage, some of their sites are already running Sage so it isn't a brand new system to all within the business but you will ensure a smooth implementation and migration is carried out.

You should have a good understanding of accounts solutions and technologies and how they impact businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Sage and migrate data from the old FMS system.
  • Work closely with the CFO to ensure objectives are met
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve environment problems during UAT environment
  • Conduct stakeholder and end-user application training and provide appropriate documentation for follow-up when required.
  • Oversight of application build, test and deployment activities.
  • Demonstrate system functionality

Experience

Required

  • Previous knowledge of Accountancy software Packages
  • Sage implementation experience
  • Experience of the FMS system is an advantage
  • Prior Cloud accounting Implementation experience or similar
  • Experience as an implementation consultant with a focus on financial applications
  • Experience should demonstrate an understanding of finance especially AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Tax, and revenue recognition.
