ICT Teacher

The role

I work on behalf of a fantastic secondary school based in central Somerset that is looking for a teacher to join the ICT department and lead classes across the age range. The role will involve:

  • Planning & marking your own lessons

  • Working proactively with other members of the department

  • Teaching all key stages

What the client is looking for

The headteacher is looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must have a QTS.

  • Confidence in teaching A Level and GCSE

  • A commitment to 'getting involved' in overall school life

  • Relevent qualifications and experience

  • A solid understanding the UK curriculum

The school I am looking for really prioritizes strong subject knowledge and a teacher that is a breath of fresh air. Someone who can engage their students in their learning but also push them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.
