IBA Technician

Our client who is a Lloyds Broker, is looking for an IBA Technician to join their expanding Accounts/ Finance team based in the Southend, Essex office. The purpose of the role is to assist the team with carrying out the full IBA function.

Main Duties:

• Cash Matching and Allocation
• Preparing statements for Underwriters, Clients, and Third Party accounts
• Chasing outstanding premium
• Assisting the busy IBA Accounts department
• Completion of IBA Payment run
• Filing of relevant documentation such as bank statements, remittance advices & correspondence
• Assist with all IBA credit control
• Maintain the correct exchange rates on Brokasure
• Sending regular remittance advices
• Liaising closely with clients and Underwriters
• Assisting the Compliance Officer with enquiries relating to the role
• General duties to assist the team as required

Essential Skills Required:

• Previous experience within an IBA accounts role
• Strong MS Office knowledge
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

• Good organisation skills
• Study towards AAT

What you need to know:

• Permanent role
• Based in Southend, Essex - hybrid
• Salary between £30,000 - £40,000
