IBA and Cashiering Assistant

Our client, a leading Insurer, are recruiting for an IBA and Cashiering Assistant to join the team on a contract basis.

Role:

IBA Accounting

  • Day-to-day matching of transactions on IBA system
  • Investigation and chasing of unmatched cash an unpaid transactions
  • Liaise with IBA Processing team and internal Brokers/AR's to resolve accounting queries

Cashering

  • Posting Cash in IBA system
  • Setting up payments
  • Setting up FX trades
  • Bank reconciliations in IBA system

Experience:

  • Experience in insurance credit control in the London Insurance Market
  • Experience of using UK bank portals
  • Experience of using UK FX trade portals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Familiar with IBA (Insurance Broking accounts) systems
  • Familiar with Underwriting systems for finance reporting
  • Carry out duties in accordance with internal policies and procedures and applicable law, rules, regulation, good governance and shared values, including putting stakeholders at the heart of our business
