Job Title: IBA Account Handler

Location: Southend, Essex

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Salary: £40,000 per annum + Benefits 

Insurance Industry Sectors: IBA, Accounts, Broking, Brokerage

A key client of ours is looking to recruit an IBA Account Handler. 

You will be required to have 5 years experience within an IBA role and be willing for a new challenge with a respected Lloyds Broker. 

The ideal candidate will need to have strong numerical and literacy skills. Good communicational and organisational skills are also essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cash Matching & Allocation 
  • Preparing statements for Underwriters, Clients & Third party accounts 
  • Chasing outstanding premium and requesting full breakdown
  • Preparing payment runs for client and Underwriters
  • Running fortnightly credit control reports
  • General Administration and office duties - IE Scanning, Filling, Telephone

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook) or similar software applications.
  • Knowledge of Brokasure
  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates
