Contract Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of their well-established client based in the outskirts of Norwich for a Hygiene Team Leader.  Own transport is essential due to site location. Previous experience of factory cleaning and working in a supervisory capacity are essential. 

As a Hygiene Team Leader you will be responsibe for leading the hygiene team and managing hygiene schedules on an ongoing basis, ensuring that systems and procedures are achived, safely and efficiently, meeting the required food safety and quality standards across all areas of the facility. 

Your main duties/responsibilies will include:

  • Managing the hygiene team: planning allocation of tasks on a daily basis
  • Quality assurance: maintaining food safety, quality and health & safety standards, controlling equipment
  • Efficiency: supervising the team and managing efficiency of operations, ensuring all team members are trained correctly and follow the CIC's at all times
  • Health & Safety: ensuring you take responsibility for the Health & Safety of your team and yourself, notifying Shift Manager/Factory Manager if there is anything that concerns you
  • Administration: Checking paperwork completed by the team and report non-conformances to the Technical & Factory team
