My client, a market leading UK based Environmental Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology, Flood Risk Modelling and Flood Estimation Techniques, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join and their established Team of Specialists based in Bristol.

This role will involve varied Flood Risk, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities. As a specialist Tuflow Modeller you will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow.

Candidates will also be required to mentor junior team members to use Tuflow and check modelling work completed by the team.

It is essential that applicants have a strong background in Hydrology including a BSc and/or MSc in a related discipline (e.g. River Basin Dynamics, Hydrology or Environmental Management) and have experience specialising in Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow, Flood Risk Assessments and Surface Water Management Plans.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience mentoring team members.
