Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a machinery manufacturer to recruit a Hydraulic Design Engineer to join their Leeds facility.

Our client is looking for a Hydraulic Design Engineer who has a passion for Engineering, thrives in a fast-paced environment and relishes the opportunity to learn new skills.

The hydraulic Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Design & development of products, manifolds and unit assembly both existing & new, through to launch and through life
  • Provide technical design support to the engineering team, sales team and customers
  • Preparing reports to demonstrate technical progress on projects
  • BOM creation
  • Research & development to create design prototypes
  • Resolve product development issues through creative testing and re-engineering
  • Perform necessary technical calculations and testing to ensure functionality

We would be keen to speak with Hydraulic Design Engineers with the following:

  • A degree qualification or equivalent in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in hydraulic unit and mechanical design, in heavy industry
  • Proficient and fully conversant in Solidworks
  • Experience in Epicor, Jobshop, MS Project
  • Experience and knowledge of FEA & CFD (or similar)
