This mixed secondary academy is urgently trying to recruit an experienced Human Resources Officer to start in September to support the HR Manager in the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective HR service. This is a people management focused role where you will take responsibility for providing a day to day confidential and professional HR administration service within the Academy.

As the HR Officer your main activities and responsibilities will be:

Recruitment and selection - Coordinate recruitment processes

Employee relations policies and procedures - proved generalist HR support.

Compliance - Single Central Register, SIMS/HR System

Operations HR - starter and leavers documentation

Payroll - timely instructions to the payroll team 

A more detailed JD is available.  You will ideally have a CIPD qualification to Level 3 or 5, strong HR Officer experience, be IT proficient, highly organised and able to prioritise a busy workload.

Scale 6 (Spine Point Range 26 - 28)

£30,327 - £32,107 FTE

£27,761 - £29,390 pro rata

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week

Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per year)

(by agreement with the Principal)
