Human Resources Advisor
37 Hours per week
Salary between £25,545.64 - £28,054.79

Norse Group's Support Services Division has an excellent opportunity within our HR Department for a HR Advisor to join our team at our Head office in Norwich.

This position is being offered on a full time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday; however, other working patterns and hours would be considered.

The role

As HR Advisor, you will be working as part of an effective team in delivering outstanding HR advice and support across the Group to support the Norse Group’s core values. We are embarking on an exciting period of system change and as part of this, you will be required to work on our new case management system along with other more general duties including projects and working towards continuously improving ER services across the Norse Group.

As part of this you will:

  • Ensure that case work is carried out in a timely, effective, and efficient way
  • Following group procedure in formal HR meetings, including disciplinary and investigations
  • Identify and help to implement new policies in line with Group changes

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for you to have previous experience and knowledge as follows;

  • Previous experience in a HR generalist role, ideally with examples of case work
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to have discussions at all levels
  • Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business
  • Either currently working towards a CIPD Qualification, holding a CIPD qualification or a willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • An understanding of HR functions and system
  • Full UK Driving Licence, as this role will involve occasional travel
