Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an HSQE Manager based in Castleford for an engineering company.

Salary: £44,000 - £49,000
Location:  Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 1:30pm

The role…

As the HSQEManager, your role will involve the following important duties:

• Ensure all  IOS9001, ISO14001, ATEX/IECEx, Achilles Verify B2 and Safe Contractor Scheme accreditations are maintained and achieved.
• Ensure audits are maintained and achieved.
• Improve the site's HSQE management programme and systems.
• Implement new or update existing HSQE-related legislation, rules and company standards.
• Investigate incidents and produce detailed factual reports identifying root causes and recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitate risk assessments, COSHH assessments, PWER, DSEAR etc.

The experience required…

As a successful HSQEManager, you will have the following:

• NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• CQI Certificate/Diploma in Quality Management.
• Proven experience as a HSQE Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working to ISO9001, 14001, 18001/45001.
• Proven experience in driving changes and improvements.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
• Analytical with the ability to interpret detailed information and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
