HSE Advisor

The role
A HSE Advisor is now required to join the team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The proposed hours for the role are 8-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8-2:30pm on Fridays, but these can be quite flexible.

You will take responsibility for:

• Act as the main point of contact for all site Health and Safety matters
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and investigations, producing reports and statistics
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of the company's statutory duties and policies
• Assist driving change and improvements to the company's EHS objectives
• Act as the company's expert witness as and when required

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Minimum of an IOSH Managing Safely Certification
• HSE background ideally within a logistics / manufacturing / construction / site setting however all backgrounds are considered
• Good knowledge of Safety Management Systems
• Be able to communicate with stakeholders of all levels effectively
• Basic computer skills - Word, Excel & Data Collation

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• A NEBOSH Certification is desirable
