HR Service Manager

We are currently partnering with a leading charitable organisation, who are recruiting for a HR Service Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £43,701 to £55,662 (subject to experience) per annum.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• To build effective working relationships with line managers across the organisation by providing them with proactive, credible and timely advice on their people
• To manage employee relations activities ensuring that outcomes are proportionate, reasonable, timely and in in with legislation and the organisations policies
• Provide people management advice, support and coaching to line managers, to enable them to fully undertake their people management role and ensure they are fully aware of the risks/ implications associated with their decisions
• Responsible for the full cycle of all recruitment and selection for relevant business areas across the organisation, with the support of the Senior HR Coordinator
• Provide regular reliable line management for all direct reports sufficient to ensure that they remain motivated skilled and engaged and so that they can realise their potential
• Work with the HR Director on specific HR projects initiatives and processes to deliver the strategic plan

Experience required:

• Worked in the public sector
• Able to work as a generalist

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Ideally have CIPD level 7
• Recruitment management
• Line management
