Job Title: HR Operations Process Owner

Duration: 12 months, extensions likely

Location: Warwick/Hybrid (as and when required in the office)

Salary: £500-£550 per day via Umbrella

Our client, a leading company in the utilities industry, is seeking a talented and experienced HR Ops Process Owner to join their team. As the HR Operations Process Owner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering end-to-end process improvements across our client's People Function landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's efficiency, effectiveness, and control objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis of current practises within the HR Operations CoE and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement business process improvements, including changes in workflows, structures, and teams, to enhance company performance
  • Support the People Digital Transformation by defining new global processes and reducing manual processing time
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to build proposals and business cases for improvement activity
  • Act as a subject matter expert, driving change, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with COEs, Product Managers, and Data Owners to identify improvement activities and solutions
  • Apply continuous improvement practises to eliminate waste and optimise value streams
  • Manage process improvement projects and workstreams, including budgets and project plans
  • Track service improvement insights and leverage root cause analysis to embed improvement recommendations
  • Regularly review HR policies to ensure legal compliance, employee experience, and inclusivity
  • Document processes and associated material to ensure compliance and understanding across the workforce
  • Communicate process changes and support transition activities from a change management perspective

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strategic thinking and problem-solving within organisational and behavioural challenges
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering process change management initiatives, ideally within HR
  • Strong ability to continuously improve operational processes by applying continuous improvement practises
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Client relationship skills with experience in a dynamic client environment
  • Proficient in project management, including schedule, scope, issue, and risk management
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse data and suggest process improvements
  • Strong documentation, facilitation, and presentation skills
