Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day HR service provision, collaborating with the academy's People Business Partner and Centralized People Support Service.
- Manage the HR Information System and payroll information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic employee records that meet Ofsted standards.
- Process the monthly payroll accurately and submit it on time.
- Maintain an accurate Single Central Register (SCR) in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
- Generate HR letters and correspondence (e.g., variation to contract letters, maternity, holiday entitlement) using standard templates.
- Support disciplinary, grievance, capability, and appeal processes, including organising meetings, preparing packs, taking notes, and issuing outcome letters.
- Monitor and process fixed-term contracts, staff changes, and staff leaving documentation, arranging exit interviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in HR, preferably within an educational setting.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and data management.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS check is required for this role.
