Working within the education sector, as the HR Officer you will join as part of the central People function and work within the HR team, to create new, more efficient, and inclusive ways of working. 
Key Deliverables:
  • You will be directly reporting into the Strategic HR Projects Lead, working within a small team.
  • You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing tasks that relate to the delivery of key strategic HR projects that are linked to delivery of the 5 year People Strategy.
  • Working as part of a large complex matrix structure organisation you will have the opportunity to work with other internal HR key stakeholders.
  • Providing project support to the Strategic HR Projects Lead in relation to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), Recruitment and Retention, Talent Management, Flexible Working and other HR Projects as may be required.
  • Provide policy support to maintain the HR Policy portal and ensure that all HR policies and associated guidance documents are kept up to date and reflect the correct terms and conditions and take account of latest statutory guidance and legislation.
  • Provide HR administration as well as strategically driving HR across the organisation.
  • You will be able to support the development of new processes and procedure.
  • Be involved with HR research & analysis, undertaking analysis of relevant data and research to identify trends and to inform HR project outcomes, support the production of data and reports in appropriate formats for different stakeholder groups.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.
The Right Candidate:
  • Will have a CIPD qualification (or be studying towards), or a degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Ideally has exposure of HR within the education sector.
  • Have a proven track record of strong stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in challenging timescales.
  • Ability to understand, analyse and interpret a range of information from different sources.
  • Experience of using HR systems and has the ability to monitor, analyse, review and guide managers using the HR data available.
  • Will have an intellectual curiosity, openness to learning and a willingness to consider new ways of doing things.
  • Possess strong emotional intelligence and ability to engage peers and develop credibility with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
