Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Birmingham

Duration: 12 months contract

Working: Full Time - Hybrid Working

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Interviews week commencing 8th April

Robert Half are delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent business based in Birmingham who are looking for a HR Officer on a 12-month contract.

Duties

• First point of contact for all line managers and employees concerning HR queries
• Support the business and colleagues in areas of maternity/paternity, retirement, absences, disciplinaries.
• To build and develop relationships with staff at all levels across the Trust to provide support, guidance, and challenge where appropriate on all HR related matters.
• Support recruitment of new employees, drafting adverts, posting adverts, organising interviews, and corresponding with successful and unsuccessful candidates.
• Manage pre-employment screening including the onboarding of new employees.
• Provide support for employees including employee letters, handling processes for movers, leavers, and joiners.
• Assist in developing a positive company culture in line with company values.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation.
• Working alongside the finance team regarding monthly & weekly payrolls.

The Successful Applicant

• CIPD 5+ qualified (desirable)
• Minimum 3 years' experience within a similar role
• Strong knowledge of employment law
• Workday/ADP Time and Attendance Experience (desirable)
• Payroll experience
