Employing around 300 people in a production environment, this role will report to the Managing Director managing all HR activities for two sites.
You will be leading on operational (80%) and strategic (20%) HR activities for the business.
This is an opportunity to help drive and shape the culture of this business alongside the senior leadership team.
The role will be based on site 5 days a week.
About the role?
- Day to day HR advice and guidance to employees and managers
- Managing employee relations cases
- Leading and delivering on the HR strategy for the business
- Managing the recruitment process, on-boarding and learning development for employees
- Leading on all aspects of employee engagement to support the development of their culture
- Attending and being involved in team meetings, training, as well as all personal development meetings, including supervision and mentoring sessions.
- Leading on the implementation of a HRIS
- Coaching and managing the part-time HR Assistant
About you?
- CIPD qualified – ideally level 5 or 7
- Up to date employment law knowledge and an expert in ER
- Credibility and gravitas to operate at leadership team level
- Health and safety experience would be a nice to have however not essential
- Experience of working in a production facility / shop floor / manufacturing environment is essential
- Travel to another site within East Anglia once a week (full clean driving licence required) is essential
