An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager fluent in Japanese and English focused on supporting expats who have recently moved, ensuring they are supported with the move accordingly as well as advising on immigration and tax.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining the HRIS system
  • Managing the new starter process including onboarding, setting up inductions and setting up bank accounts for expats, ensuring they are set up accordingly
  • Leading and managing all payroll related matters for expats
  • Managing all transfers accordingly from employees immigrating into the country, ensuring all visa and tax details are noted correctly and in line with local legislation
  • Supporting on ad-hoc projects and tasks including audit checks

Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Previous experience in a global mobility role, or a similar position where you were responsible for managing employees immigrating
  • Strong understanding of immigration and tax law in the UK
  • Previous experience in a HR Generalist position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Japanese
