The Client:

Harmonic is excited to be working with a scaling plant-focused casual food chain that is currently looking for a HR Manager.

This scaleup uses an exciting concept making healthy, sustainable, and plant-focused food accessible and convenient for people who are looking for a fresh quality organic and ethical meal option. The company's ethos is to create a balanced lifestyle with food being at the core, using local sourced ingredients, encouraging tasty vegan and vegetarian options and working with talented chefs to curate menus.

This company is currently operating through a very exciting scaling phase where it will be looking to add 7-11 sites around London to add to their list of restaurants. With a brand-new HQ, this company is investing heavily into making the brand the best option for a healthy meal.

The Role:

As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, supporting team members and driving organisational success.

Working with the founders and the Head of Operations, this person will play a key part in being the glue during a series of site expansions. This HR Manager will manage the whole human resource's function and own the HR piece. There is significant exposure with this role and a real opportunity to grow with the business.

A crucial aspect of this role is that this person will have excellent people and communication skills, be outgoing and very friendly.

Duties:

  • Working with key internal stakeholders on identifying and implementing hires into the growing team.
  • Reviewing applications from live recruitment processes. This includes attracting new talent, screening CV's and conducting initial conversations with prospective candidates.
  • Working with internal hiring managers on onboarding new employees and ensuring smooth transition into the organisation. Giving the best in-class new starter onboarding experience.
  • Act as point of contact with the wider team and point of reference for any internal queries.
  • Ensuring all Rights to Work for new employees are set up.
  • Supporting the implementation of training and development programs.
  • Set company culture by bringing a positive personality and outgoing attitude.

What our client would like to see (Essential Experience):

  • 2-3 years' experience in a HR role.
  • Worked in a fast-growth startup.
  • Very strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

What we would like to see (Non-Essential Experience):

  • Hospitality/restaurant/food & beverage industry experience.
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • CIPD/SHRM/HRCI qualified.

Salary: £40,000- £50,000
