HR Generalist
My client is a successful event and conference management company who work in partnership with global clients in managing and delivering events, conferences and additional services such as online training on their behalf internationally.
Due to their success and growth they have a great opportunity for someone looking to continue their career in Human Resources in a professional and supportive environment. They are looking to add an HR Generalist/Manager to their team on a part time basis (3 - 4 days per week) and are looking for someone who has already gained good experience in an HR role.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- c. 4 years broad HR experience with good knowledge of employment law
- Knowledge of employment contracts, performance, maternity, absence and disciplinary procedures
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal - ability to confidently work with team members at all levels
Responsibilities will include:
- HR administration - ensuring notes and actions from meetings are well documented
- Support to management team in HR related matters
- Liaison with external HR consultant
- Support with recruitment, on-boarding of new staff, training needs and resources
- Management and updating of HR database
Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level and CIPD qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
More important are excellent people skills and a willingness to be part of a successful team and to provide the support needed to management and the wider team.
Location; Twickenham
Salary; to c.£45k pro rata depending on experience and qualifications
Hours; 3 - 4 days per week (Office hours are typically Mon - Fri 9.00 - 5.30)
Start date; May/June2024
