We ae proud to be working with one of Yorkshire's finest Law firms. They are currently recruiting for an Employment Law Consultant based to be based in their Leeds office.

The Role

The Employment Law Consultant will provide Employment Law advice and support to current and prospective corporate clients.

You will be required to provide legally compliant solutions to clients in all aspects of HR and Employment Law in order to support the business needs of the clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Providing advisory guidance and coaching on Employment Law policy to enable corporate clients to deliver good people management practices and ensuring consistent and fair decisions and legally compliant processes

· Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practices

· Advising business clients on areas of employment law including disciplinary and grievances, performance management, redundancy, sickness absence, TUPE, terminating employment

· Drafting employment documents e.g. contracts of employment, policies, settlement agreements

About you

The Employment Law Consultant will be an ambitious professional who is looking for an opportunity to challenge themselves in a high performing organisation.

Ideally you will have/be

· Experience in providing advice on complex and varied HR and employment law issues

· Experience in independently and impartially conducting meetings with clients

· Be passionate about helping and supporting clients to achieve the needs of their business

· Tact, diplomacy, an eye for detail and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

· Be self-motivated and able to work with autonomy

· Actively committed to self-development
