Reed HR are delighted to offer an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our reputable and well-established manufacturing client’s team. This senior HR generalist role is integral to supporting the company’s people strategy and managing a headcount of circa 120 on-site. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with the Head of HR and manage one direct report, leading on HR projects and supporting day-to-day operational HR activities.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Provide a professional and dedicated HR advisory service to the business.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with various departments.
  • Support internal and external recruitment activities, including interview planning and onboarding processes.
  • Promote best practice in performance management, employee wellbeing, and continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Work alongside the Talent Team to implement the talent strategy, including succession planning, personnel development plans (PDP), and career development.
  • Support training programmes and HR projects.
  • Update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and employment legislation.
  • Optimise the use of HRIS systems, ensuring data is continuously up to date.
  • Manage budgets and provide analysis of spend.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, or Senior HR Generalist.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally within a busy HR function.
