Our client - an FMCG leader, one of the world's largest multinational packaged food manufacturers.

As a key member of the Plant Leadership team, you will be responsible for contributing to develop and enable the delivery of the company HR strategy as well as facilitating all HR processes for the Operations Function across your plant. This includes working in coordination with the Operations HR Director, plant leadership teams and in alignment with the other HRBPs across sites and commercial functions to guarantee the optimisation and standardisation of the HR Ways of Working.

• Influence and support the development of the plant master plan, with specific accountability for all people related aspects

• Monitor and evaluate results of the Operations function in relation to established goals

• Recommend actions to ensure continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness

• Support Line Managers in people development and management, being a role model on how to hold both motivational as well as challenging conversations

• Influence the plant leadership team, ensuring they are moving forward together as a business

• Supervise relationships with employees and facilitate the exchange of HR topics

• Ensure the proper management of budget and forecasting

• Oversee implementation of Rewards policies

• Forecast and oversee recruitment of roles within your plant remits

• Manage all labour relations topics and engagements in your plant, in line with company guidelines and objectives and in cooperation with Operations HR Director and members of the Group HR CoEs

• Be an active and influential member of the Group HR function, contributing to its overall objectives and ways of working

Experience and skills needed:

• Proven experience within a similar senior role and track record of success

• Previous experience in related industry (manufacturing/supply chain ideal)

• Experience within industrial and labour relationships

• Passion and willingness to spend time on the shopfloor, understanding what we do well, what we can improve on and how people can be supported in achieving that

• Previous experience in a Matrix environment

• A passion for people, with proven interpersonal and communication skills

• A healthy level of ambition and passion, wanting to develop a career within HR and help drive the business to success

• Flexibility to travel when required

• Able to fully embrace the excitement and intensity of working in a journey of change and growth of a company that aspires to become number one
