My client is seeking a Junior HR Business Partner to join their innovative and dynamic team. This role is based out of their Hemel Hempstead office, with flexibility required for travel around the UK to our operational sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for line management of 1-2 staff, providing guidance on all ER casework, and involved in transformation projects. This is an opportunity to be both strategic and operational within a small, hands-on HR team.

Day to day of the role:
  • Drive the people agenda, supporting across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Act as a well-rounded HR Generalist, managing employee relations case management, coaching support, and delivery of HR Surgeries.
  • Support Talent Mapping, Organisational design, and Succession planning to drive performance and ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Connect with multi-site Management and Exec Leadership to communicate the HR agenda and People initiatives.
  • Manage annual cycles of HR activity and ad-hoc project work, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Participate in European Group HR initiatives and People Projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD qualified to at least Level 5, ideally Level 7 or equivalent, with knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Strong generalist HR background with experience of working with senior leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build positive and collaborative relationships, including the delivery of training.
  • Highly process-oriented, detail-focused, and a completer-finisher.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to understand financial implications.
  • Resilient, able to prioritise busy workloads and deal with quick turnarounds.
  • Ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
