HR Business Partner - 6 months FTC in County Durham

Our client are a leading Manufacturing company who are looking to recruit at Interim HR Business Partner to be based at their office in County Durham.

The main purpose of the role is:

Implementing people plans and driving site wide improvements within the local site and the wider business.

Supporting the Managing Director in establishing and implementing a people plan and all elements of the employee lifecycle.

Key duties include:

Ø Business partnering with site leadership team to drive site wide improvements.

Ø Manage improvements such as engagement plans, absence transformations etc.

Ø Ensure alignments across the business with the wider HR functions.

Ø Talent and performance - own the talent and performance agenda for the site.

Ø Learning & Development

Ø Managing the award-winning apprenticeship scheme/levy

Ø Trade Union discussions & negotiations

Ø Provide advice on polices & procedures in conjunction with current employment

legislation.

Ø Employee Relations

Ø Analysing trends in HR data

Ø Regularly review, update & communicate changes in policies and procedures.

Ø Any other HR related duties needed to fulfill the role successfully

Key requirements include:

Ø Degree or equivalent experience within generalist HR

Ø CIPD qualified or part qualified.

Ø A solid manufacturing, supply chain or FMCG background

Ø Background in an HR generalist both operational and strategic

Ø Experience of implementing people plans, employee engagement strategies and driving

site wide improvements.

Ø Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.

Ø Experience of working with Trade Unions

Ø True business partnering experience.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week office based and 2 days from home.

This is initially a 6 month FTC with the potential for extension. In return you will be rewarded with an excellent salary and full benefits package, including an early finish on a Friday.
