£30,000 - £35,000 DOE/FTE

As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team in various administrative tasks and projects. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR operations.

Description of the role:

  • Assist with recruitment processes including job posting, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion and training.
  • Assist with employee relations tasks, including drafting communications and conducting research as needed.
  • Coordinate training and development programs, including scheduling sessions and tracking attendance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, answering phones, and handling inquiries.

About you:

  • Human Resources qualification is desirable.
  • Previous experience in similar HR positions a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
