Ashley Kate HR are excited to be working with one of our clients in the education sector, as they look to recruit for three Full Time, HR Assistants based in London.

This role does not offer hybrid working and will require someone to be on site 5 days per week
 
Support the HR Business Partner in providing excellent HR services to a group of schools. You will be responsible for maintaining personnel records and assisting the HR Business Partner with the full range of the HR function.
 
The HR Assistant will be responsible for:
·Supporting across the full recruitment life cycle for appointing academic and non-academic staff.
·Track applications, prepare shortlisting packs and liaise with candidates and hiring managers for interviews.
·Assist the HRBP with obtaining relevant pre-appointment checks for successful applicants, including DBS checks, social media checks, health checks etc.
·Assist the HRBP with onboarding successful candidates and ensuring they have a smooth induction process.
·Under the guidance of the HRBP, ensure that the Single Central Record is kept up to date and is compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.
·Create and maintain employee records, physically and in relevant HR systems.
·Assist the HRBP in monitoring and recording all staff absences on the relevant HR systems, and ensuring supporting documents are filed as appropriate.
·Ensure the completion of leaver paperwork, arrange exit interviews and archive files as necessary.
·Assist the HRBP with monthly Payroll, compiling reports which include all staff changes, absences, joiners and leavers etc.
 
Looking for:
·CIPD Level 3 Qualified
·Experience of working in a School, College, Academy or education provider, preferred
·Knowledge and understanding of current employment law and current good practice in HR
·Experience of working within fast paced, Human Resources environment
·Highly effective communication skills
·Ability to work on own initiative
·Excellent organisational and administrative skills - ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload
