MTrec’s New Client Opportunity

We are proudly representing our public sector client based in Newcastle for their search for an HR and Recruitment Assistant. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a temporary assignment to start as soon as possible

The Role you will be Doing

  • Administering a range of recruitment tasks and understand the recruitment processes
  • Responsible for ensuring any advertising requests are authorised
  • Preparing and issuing relevant employment correspondence to successful applicants including offer letters and contracts
  • Administering pre-employment checks
  • Keeping the recruitment lead is informed of the outcome of clearances undertaken
  • Assist in production of employment contracts
  • Update the HR and payroll systems with stored documentation
  • Assist in carrying out DBS checks and renewal processes
  • Assist HR and Recruitment management in processing HR related work
  • Identifying any ongoing system improvements
  • Build effective relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Proactively promote the service

About You

  • HR and/or recruitment experience is essential
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fully IT literate
  • Be able to establish excellent relationships with customers
  • Maintain positive and professional
  • Organised and can work to timeframes
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced
