Are you a HR professional who is also a bit of a shoe afficionado? Would you like to provide HR advice against the backdrop of some of the most famous and exciting brands in shoes and boots?


This historic company has worked in the leather business for over 140 years- their roots run deep. Nowadays they provide a storage and distribution route for some of the largest shoe, boot and workwear manufacturers in the UK.


Paying upto £40k this role supports all a diverse range of HR functions but would really suit someone who thrives supporting line managers with ER issues and other HR matters while embedding the company’s mission and HR strategy.


The ability to support line managers will be backed up by good HR knowledge and/or CIPD training. Experience is fine too! If you have been doing this type of role for a while in a similar environment then we’d love to hear from you.


There will also be a diverse range of other HR issues and projects you’ll get involved with, from payroll to employee benefits and from developing company policy to supporting training and development the role would really suit someone who thrives on different projects and challenges across a typical working week.


The person is also key within this role. As a vital support mechanism across the business it’s important you are personable, able to interact at different levels within the organisation and prioritise ever changing demands as events happen.
