Hays HR is delighted to be supporting a global organisation on the recruitment of a HR Advisor to join them on a 12-month FTC to support maternity cover. The role offers a hybrid working approach; a competitive salary located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will report into the HR Business Partner supporting a specific area of the business, and working closely with the wider HR function. This is a HR Generalist opportunity where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of HR activities.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Providing advice and guidance to line managers on a wide range of HR issues
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner on providing an advisory service
  • Managing lower level Employee Relation cases
  • Managing performance and absence management
  • Ad-hoc project work


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a fast-paced organisation, managing a high workload
  • Previous experience within an HR Advisor role
  • Able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Good employment law knowledge
  • CIPD Qualification or working towards
