Salary: £34,000-£36,000

Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client who are in the HR Consultancy industry, are looking to recruit a HR Advisor. This role is a busy role and you will based in the warehouse. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.

The day to day duties in your new job will be….

To be the first line of support to clients, either by phone, email or face to face, providing expert tailored advice and support on all things HR related, such as employee relations, organisational change, policies and restructuring.

Working in a collaborative way with the managing HR Consultant to ensure each client is supported effectively.

CRM records and HR consultants are kept up to date to reflect advice given and actions taken.

Drafting documents including contracts, handbooks, letters, guidance documents and policy documents across all areas of HR.

Drafting and updating HR Toolkits.

Project work across all areas of HR including discipline and grievance, performance management, appraisals, training, restructuring, organisational change, salary benchmarking.

Supporting recruitment including drafting job descriptions, person specs and adverts, liaising with resourcers, sifting applications, phone interviews, reviewing psychometric profiles, compiling candidate summaries.

To attend regular meetings with the advisor team, review workload, capacity, and ways of working. Escalate concerns as appropriate.

  • Positive feedback from colleagues and clients.
  • Accuracy and awareness of tasks undertaken.
  • Extent of support required to complete more complex tasks.
  • Advice is pragmatic and solutions orientated.
  • Projects are completed within timelines and cost budget.
  • Solid experience as an HR Generalist/ HR Advisor.
  • Level 7 CIPD qualified.
  • Up to date working employment law knowledge and its practical application.
  • Confident and outgoing with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer orientated, committed to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Commercially focused - ability to weigh up employment and commercial needs.
  • Strong disciplinary and grievance knowledge.
  • Good experience of policy writing and implementation.
  • Diplomacy, tact and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate independently using own initiative but with strong team working skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the challenges of the business.
  • Effective organisational and project management skills.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
