HR Advisor
We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in Birmingham, who provide a range of fantastic support services to vulnerable individuals across the West Midlands.
They are currently looking to recruit for a HR Advisor, on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent. This will be a full-time position with 37.5 hours, up to 4 days home working, and an hourly rate of circa £16 per hour.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing employee relations cases, and working within a generalist HR capacity.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing end-to-end employee relations cases, including absence, sickness, disciplinaries and grievances
• Supporting with key HR projects, including restructuring and redeployment
• Assisting with the development of new HR policies, ensuring they are in line with best practice and current legislation
• Maintaining and updating the HR system with correct employee details
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
• Previous experience working in a generalist HR role
• Experience managing employee relations cases
• Strong communication skills to liaise and communicate effectively and professionally with other employees and external professionals
Working hours:
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
