Responsibilities:

  • To provide advice and guidance to managers and colleagues at all levels on all HR and apply best practices alongside employment legislation
  • Maintain and improve relationships between colleagues, managers and local trade union representatives and actively encourage consultation between parties to maximise a positive working environment
  • Provide support and advice to Managers in the recruitment and selection of colleagues in terms of advertising and selection methods
  • Support managers to coordinate and deliver corporate training and development activities
  • Work with Head of HR to implement change management tools
  • Create and review HR policies and procedures considering best practices and establish clear guidelines

Skills and experience required:

  • CIPD qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience working in a similar HR Generalist position
  • Excellent working knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships quickly
  • Ability to work well under pressure
