Adecco are excited to be recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a fantastic company in the Newcastle under Lyme.

Salary: £26000 - £28000 pa plus yearly company and personal bonus.

Working hours: 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday

22 days holidays & bank holidays - with an additional 'Get stuff done day'!!!

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Head of HR and HR admin you will ensure the various departments across the company are supported fully. Whist you are still set to perform the roles your CIPD (or equivalent) prepared you for, you will also be involved with some exciting events/ charity days, and you will play a key part in bringing people in the organisation together!

Responsibilities

  • Supporting all recruitment activities, attracting and on-boarding top talent whilst the recruitment process remains smooth, professional and cost/ time effective.
  • Providing advice and guidance on the whole range of employment issues and employee relations.
  • Assisting with all people activities and comms within the HR remit (i.e., team building, charity days, company newsletter)
  • Assess and review HR processes and policies in line with best practice and changes in legislation
  • Assisting with all employee relations i.e., Grievances, Disciplinaries, on boarding / off boarding, ensuring RTW compliance and drafting contracts and documents.
  • Mentoring junior team members and assisting in their HR journey; identifying training requirements and supporting.

Candidate requirements

  • CIPD Qualified or relevant working knowledge
  • Prior experience of recruitment within a HR Team (including liaising with agencies using recruiting platforms and social media) good knowledge of hiring practices.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
  • Confident, friendly and approachable with proactive attitude and passion for delivering exceptional service.
