We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our highly customer-focused HR team. The successful candidate will provide excellent service to Directors, Managers, and employees, advising the business on employee-related matters in line with current employment law and company procedures. This role involves maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with payroll, and supporting the HR team across various functions.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Advise the business on all employee-related matters in accordance with current employment law and company procedures.
  • Take minutes of meetings, transcribe, and produce for approval and signing.
  • Produce appropriate invite and outcome letters for various employee-related meetings.
  • Undertake general HR administration, including managing new starters, leavers, and contract changes.
  • Maintain employee filing systems, both electronically and in hard copy, in accordance with GDPR.
  • Assist in the administration of recruitment and selection, including advertising and scheduling interviews.
  • Support across HR and Payroll departments as required.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of all services to provide excellent customer service.
  • Operate with confidentiality and release information only with proper approval.
  • Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CIPD qualification.
  • GCSE or equivalent, grades C or above in Maths and English.
  • Experience with Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet.
  • Previous experience in maintaining effective office systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to also work independently.
  • Flexibility to meet workload demands and willingness to travel to other locations if required.
  • Experience in a highly confidential environment is essential.
