Professio Recruitment, a premier recruitment agency, is partnering with a leading provider of medical services to expand their HR team and now looking to fill a newly created role due to substantial business growth.

This position is being offered as a hybrid role, travel will be required in the London/South East & East Anglia area.

As an HR Advisor, your role involves advising and coaching managers on various people management matters, including disciplinary processes, performance management, and absence. Responsibilities include managing employee relations cases, overseeing absence cases, and actively building strong relationships. The position also includes implementing strategies for colleague engagement, supporting training plans, and contributing to special HR projects. Overall, the role plays a crucial part in promoting a positive employee experience and aligning with organisational values.

Salary upto £35,000 pa subject to experience

40 hours per week Mon-Fri

Own transport required

Hybrid working.

You must be prepared to attend head office on the outskirts of Ipswich 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • To influence, support, coach and provide advice to managers on a full range of people management matters including the investigation and disciplinary process, performance management, absence and capability etc.
  • To work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
  • Management of employee relations case work including investigation, disciplinary, grievances and appeal ensuring that conduct is always in line with company policy and risks to the business are minimised.
  • Manage absence cases including long term absence. Liaise with third party practitioners and occupational health to support employees back into work and provide guidance to managers on any adjustments or additional support that may be required.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong, professional, and effective working relationships with people managers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong, professional, and effective working relationships with Line managers, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Devise and implement strategies and initiatives to optimise colleague engagement & support managers to review engagement survey results, identify focus areas and create action plans.
  • Assist managers in implementing training plans for colleagues and create career pathways. Support with organisational design, change, acquisition, TUPE initiatives.
  • Ensure systems are kept updated, handling employee queries in a timely manner and provide reporting on HR KPI’s and analytics, to evaluate, recommend and support improvement plans.
  • Work in partnership with managers and team leaders to deliver a seamless and unrivalled employee experience.
  • Act as an ambassador for the HR Team and company values and behaviours at all times.
  • Assist with special projects in HR.

Role Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 4 GCSE/O level passes A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths; (E)
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified (or studying towards (D)

Experience & Knowledge:

  • In order to apply for the position of HR Advisor, you will have previous experience as a HR Assistant for at least two years’ or experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in a Human Resource Department (E)
  • Experience of using various Microsoft programmes and databases (E)
  • Possess good awareness of employment law (E)
  • Experience in dealing with confidential and sensitive data (D)
