NORTH EAST (Ref 647) PERMANENT

£45k, agile working, excellent pension

We are delighted to partner out client, a multi-site and growing organisation in the North East. Reporting to the People Manger and with a Chief People Officer leading the team, you will provide advice and guidance on a range of people issues.

The role is hands on, operational and fast paced, working closely with your own sites and their leadership teams.

What’s involved

  • Provide support and guidance across the sites on employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence management
  • You will have exposure to TUPE, although experience isn’t necessary as coaching will be provided
  • Coaching managers and business leaders to enable them to make their own informed decisions on people related matters
  • Support managers with performance management, to enable a high performing culture
  • Involvement in Restructures
  • Advise on capability issues
  • Lead on the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Support the development of strong communication with staff to support employee engagement
  • Advising and supporting organisational change
  • Work with Trade Unions, continuing the really good relationships
  • Work on long term HR projects including wellbeing, engagement, EDI

What we need from you:

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Full driving licence and own car
  • Experience of complex casework
  • Experience working with senior managers
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to manage your own diary
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong team player
