HR Advisor (Hybrid) needed in Southampton, £18.06ph PAYE - 5245800

1. To provide first level professional advice and support to ensure changes to workforce structures and working practices are managed in accordance with policies.
2. To support the HR Business Partners in the implementation of appropriate HR and OD interventions that support employee engagement and improve performance outcomes.
3. To provide first level of HR support for employee relations queries and case work against policies and procedures.
4. To contribute to workforce planning activity using information and insight on workforce needs and providing solutions and support to develop performance and productivity.
5. To support the training, learning and development needs of employees and those working to deliver priorities.
6. To work with management teams ensuring that processes are executed efficiently and effectively and in accordance with policies and agreed procedures.
7. To provide support to HR and OD projects and activities to improve the HR service developing the organisation as a great place to work and employer of choice.
8. To help ensure good working relationship with TU representatives to deliver business effective resolutions and outcomes and minimise workplace disputes.
9. To provide professional advice and support to managers on all aspects of HR and OD policy and practice, in line with the Workforce Strategy.
10. To maintain accurate and objective records of all HR activity and interventions in accordance with agreed procedures and practice.
11. To undertake effective diagnosis of HR and OD issues and to take action to mitigate risks and to avoid repetition or escalation of issues.
12. To research and develop HR policies to meet organisational and legislative needs.
13. To work with the administrative support to the service and ensure timely and accurate information and advice for staff and managers.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
