Housing Standards Officer

Are you well-versed in the Housing Act and associated legislation? Do you have strong ICT skills, with experience in using Uniform being a definite advantage? We are looking for a dedicated Housing Standards Officer to join our team and make a difference in the housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Housing Act and other relevant legislation.
• Utilize your strong ICT skills to manage and maintain housing records.
• Work on issues related to the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and Redress scheme.
• Focus on compliance and disrepair issues within our temporary accommodation stock.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of the Housing Act and associated legislation.
• Strong ICT skills; experience with Uniform is a plus.
• Ideally, experience in the areas of MEES and Redress scheme.
• Must have own transport for site visits and inspections.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
