Housing Property Compliance Manager
Matching Staff Solutions are working alongside our client to find a Housing Property Compliance Manager. This role is on a contract starting in May until August 2024. You will be responsible for the completion of property safety inspections on behalf of the Housing Landlord Compliance Service, ensuring premises are maintained and legal and corporate standards for Fire and Health/Safety are met.
Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm
The Role
Your main duties will include:
- Undertake compliance checks to include fire risk assessment & reviews, review of PEEPs/liaison with Fire Service, fire door inspections, fire alarm testing and other associated Health and Safety checks.
- Undertake inspections in occupied properties, which include entrance doors, balconies and domestic water risks.
- Improve building information management records to ensure the safety of the buildings in an event of a fire or other significant event.
- Carry out fire investigations when sites have been returned from the fire service, presenting findings to Senior Leaders on lessons learnt.
- Work alongside contractors and other stakeholders to resolve issues when defects are found.
- Maintain and prepare reports and records to ensure statutory compliance.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- NEBOSH/FSC/Vulcan/IFE/IFSM Fire Risk Assessment and Risk Management
- NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate
- Fire risk assessment experience within housing properties.
- Relevant IT skills to enable effective input, manipulation, retrieval and presentation of data and information.
- 24 months experience in social housing or similar.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Enhanced DBS is essential.
