Housing Officer Opportunity – Temporary to Permanent/Permanent Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established housing association who are looking to recruit a HousingOfficer to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent/Permanent basis.
Location: Hybrid working with 2 days onsite in Southwest London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Length of Contract: 3 Months Temporary to Permanent
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Provide and deliver an efficient and effective generic housing management service to local neighbourhoods
- To enforce tenancy conditions and to liaise with the anti-social behaviour caseworker, police, and other agencies to ensure a co-ordinated response to anti-social behaviour
- Manage a range of Safeguarding and ASB cases to a high standard
- Undertake regular estate inspections, monitoring estate services and fire safety inspections
- Provide advice on Universal Credit and other welfare benefit entitlements and be responsible for delivering housing services, including Tenancy Management, Voids, Estate Services and ASB
- Oversee a high level of safeguarding at all times
- Undertaking rent collection and arrears management including representing the organisation in Court
- Take responsibility for own patch of properties
- Identifying repairs, estate improvements and dealing working with internal and external partners to resolve local management issues
Essential Requirements:
- Possess knowledge of housing law and regulation
- An Enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years or willingness to obtain
