A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a specialist Housing Manager to join one of Adecco's most improved public sector housing clients in a full time (35 hours per week), permanent contract. This is a grade 5 post with a salary scale of £41,418 to £48,474 per annum.

This role reports daily into the Tenancy Services Service Manager, and you will be required to manage the day to day work and projects of the Estates Management Team, providing an effective housing management service. Supporting and developing the team to respond to, and effectively deal with, a variety of tenancy and estate issues, identifying opportunities for service improvement and implementing changes that result in improved customer service.

A car driver/owner is essential or access to transport that will enable the successful candidate to visit when required. Our client works in a hybrid way so that people work generally from one of two offices at Exmouth and Honiton- both of these are well connected for public transport. There is also working from home. There is no car allowance but business travel is paid at the standard rate.

All applicants must possess previous experience of:

* Managing up to 7-10 staff (preferably Housing/asb/neighbourhood officers) in the public sector
* Leading, motivating and managing the neighbourhood/estate teams to deliver excellent tenancy management and estate inspection services for residents.
* Managing performance targets, producing statistics and analysing team performance and external trends to continuously improve service delivery.
* Developing the Estate Inspection team to enable it to fulfil its task of improving the estate environment.
* Co-ordinating team meetings and delegating work related tasks to the tenancy management team.
* Resolving complex anti-social behaviour, leasehold and rent arrears cases.

This is a hybrid working role so you will only need to be in their East Devon office 2-3 days a week. The client is looking for a member of staff who has experience in developing a professional customer-focused service which meets the needs of residents and responds promptly to enquiries and complaints.
