We are proud to be partnering with a G15 Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Housing Litigation Solicitor/Lawyer on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in either Central London or Surrey, with hybrid working (three days/week home working)and a salary of £42,400 to £57,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEX Lawyer and have experience working in a social housing or local authority setting

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting litigation for a mixed caseload of cases including: disrepair, ASB injunctions, possession claims and committal applications
  • Conducting advocacy when required at the local courts
  • Advising on First Tier Tribunal cases, trespass/Right of Way/breach of Easement claims and landlord/leaseholder breach of contract/lease terms
  • Preparing and drafting all own pleadings including for: notices of seeking possession, claim forms, particulars of claim, defences, part 20 counterclaims and injunctions

Experience required:

  • Experience working in social housing or a local authority
  • Two years+ PQE

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Disrepair
  • ASB
  • Possession claims

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Salary of up to £57,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working (three days/week WFH)

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
