Housing Interventions & Enforcements Manager
Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Housing Interventions & Enforcements Manager to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Essex.
What the job will be doing
- Provide leadership and direction to a team providing housing and community related services, communicating how the action plan links to our vision, to motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
- Explore issues or needs of tenants and communities, establishing potential causes and barriers as well as related issues, to enable the provision of appropriate and effective housing and community services.
- Navigate complex issues with tenants, applying critical judgement in varying, dynamic situations and working with other agencies to support tenancy sustainment
- As operational lead for anti-social behaviour ensure that our approach is embedded across the organisation, provide training to all staff and ensure that we are a leader in this field including maintaining and developing our approach to domestic abuse through DAHA accreditation
What you will need
- Experience of setting & managing budgets, understanding and interpreting complex in
- Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results
- Experience of managing a housing team in a front line service where a positive customer experience is at the heart of the operation
- Good understanding of housing law and best practice
