Housing Disrepair Solicitor - Legal 500 - Mancheaster We seek an adept Housing Disrepair Litigator to join the team. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload while supporting senior fee earners on larger matters. As we undergo growth, you will have opportunities for advancement within the firm. This role is tailored for Housing Disrepair fee earners with a proven track record seeking a training contract. Upon successful completion of a probationary period, a training contract will be offered. Responsibilities: * Overseeing Housing Disrepair claims, particularly those requiring litigation. * Crafting correspondence and compiling file notes. * Drafting legal documents like witness statements. * Preparation and attendance at court proceedings. * Conducting legal research. * Collaborating with clients, counterparts, surveyors, and the court. * Ensuring document quality and consistency through proofreading. * Meeting set targets and KPIs to deliver top-notch service to clients. Ideal Candidate: * Seasoned Housing Disrepair Litigator with NQ-3 years of file handling and litigation expertise. * Proficiency in the housing disrepair pre-action protocol and the CPR. * Capable of working independently and collaboratively. * Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and KPIs. * Effective communication and client care abilities. * Commercially savvy. * Proficient in Word, Outlook, and case management systems like Proclaim. * Positive, proactive demeanor. * Goal-oriented with a drive to excel and improve.
